Professional growth

All physiotherapists need to continuously improve their professional knowledge and clinical skills to ensure that their contribution to healthcare is of the highest standard. LFA offers its members regular continuing education events, as well as information on other continuing education events in the field of rehabilitation, which facilitate the process of improving their qualifications. LFA encourages the involvement of members in research and publication, as well as organizes networking events to build a strong and supportive community of physiotherapists.

NB! Required amount of TIP during the registration period:

Non-certified physiotherapists as medical professionals must submit an application to the Health Inspectorate regarding the acquisition or improvement of professional knowledge or skills in the relevant profession in the amount of at least 150 academic hours during the registration period, including the improvement of professional knowledge in the provision of emergency medical care, or the successful completion of a professional suitability test in the relevant profession.

Certified physiotherapists, in order to recertify, must submit a set of documents to the Certification Commission regarding the acquisition or improvement of professional knowledge or skills in the physiotherapist profession in the amount of at least 250 academic hours during the certification period, of which at least 60% are directly related to the physiotherapist specialty.
