Focused symposia and discussion sessions
The official language of the congress is English. All submissions and presentations must be delivered in English. No translation services will be provided.
Based on Europe region World Physiotherapy latest guidelines Focused Symposia are dynamic, in-depth sessions designed to explore emerging ideas, innovative practices, and current challenges in physiotherapy. Each symposium brings together leading experts and researchers to share insights, debate perspectives, and inspire collaboration across disciplines and Baltic countries.
Focused symposium format
The chair, as a recognised expert in the field, has the responsibility to invite and lead a group of speakers through a series of evidence-based and critically reflective linked presentations, drawing out the relevance, applicability, take-home message, and potential challenges for the audience.
It is important to deliver a coherent session with speakers working together thoughtfully.
Each symposium will last 45 minutes and consist of:
- Introduction - Chair.
- 3 presentations (maximum) - Speakers.
- 5-10 minutes of Q&A - Audience.
- 5-minute summary - Chair.
