The Call for papers is closed!
We have extended the abstract submission period to October 31st. We invite you to send in your paper as well as invite your colleagues to share their work.
Authors wishing to contribute to the Conference program of the Baltic congress of physiotherapy 2020, 3 - 5. December 2020, Rīga, Latvia, should submit an abstract at the latest by 31st of October, 2020.
Authors are invited to carefully read the topic descriptions and select the topic which most closely matches the key novelty of their work.
Detailed instructions on how to prepare and submit your abstract are given in the ''Abstract Submission Guidelines''. Please read these instructions carefully.
Only abstracts complying with the "Abstract Submission Guidelines" will be considered.
Each abstract will be reviewed by at least two independent experts. Accepted papers will be presented in either plenary session or poster presentation sessions. Authors will be notified of the decision of the Scientific Committee by 4th of November, 2020.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please follow these guidelines when completing the online abstract submission form.
1. Abstracts shall be written in English and submitted through the online abstract submission system. Abstracts submitted by fax or email will not be accepted.
2. Abstracts must include the following sections addressing:
a) brief, descriptive title, which avoids abbreviations and acronyms – spelling out words in full. Maximum 150 characters. The abstract title should be written with each word capitalized.
b) Names and surnames for each author must be provided.The presenting author’s name should be published in bold. All authors, whether presenting or not, who wish to attend the conference, must register and pay their registration.
c) An affiliation for each author, listed by University/Company, Department and Country. Include this complete information in the ‘Affiliation’ text box.
d) The abstract text must be in English and should be 250 to 500 words in length but no longer, excluding the title, author names and affiliations.
e) The content should be organized to provide clear information as to
f) No pictures or graphs should be included in the abstract.
g) No changes can be made to abstract once it has been submitted.
h) Use the Preview function to view the layout of the abstract. It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors introduced by the author may appear in the final program, if the abstract is accepted.
i) Include 5-10 keywords reflecting the topic of the study. Based on the key words, the abstract, if accepted, will be assigned to a session.
j) Specify a preferred presentation format: oral or poster. A limit of two presentations (oral or poster) is set per author, even as a co-author.
k) The person uploading the abstract in the User Area is automatically set as the contact person for the abstract. Therefore, please log-in as the person wishing to be the contact person.
l) Accepted abstracts will be included in the program only after the registration fee is paid.
You will be notified of your acceptance or rejection of the abstract within 4-6 weeks of submission. In the case of abstract confirmation, you will be offered one of two types of presentations:
- Oral Presentations
Each speaker will be given 10 minutes total (including questions) at the end of the corresponding session.
- Poster Presentations
Poster presentation will take place on December 4th and 5th between sessions, the speaker will be given 5 minutes to talk about his poster (one slide presentation).
